Happy Holidays

As we look back through 2016 we want to thank everyone for their support and express our gratitude for what life has presented us in the past year.  There have been many new things to learn and many changes for us at Crossroads, both personal and professional.  We are in the process of clarifying our mission and purpose so that we can provide the services that our community wants and deserves.  We have gained new connections with more licensed counselors in our area and can provide equine assisted therapy with several different professionals now.   Also, keep an eye out for our new Equine Assisted Life Coaching services that will be added soon.

Our holiday wish for you is that you will look back and feel gratitude for the good things in your life and find acceptance for what is.  Take stock of the areas where you can make changes and use that insight to learn something new and create your best life possible in the coming year.

We will be there along the way to help and support you in your journey.

We Are So Thankful

We are so thankful for our friends and supporters.  You all have been there for us from the beginning helping with everything from giving us advise and encouragement to helping to move fence panels and rocks.  We are especially thankful for our summer volunteers.  We couldn’t have done it without these amazing girls.  They are beautiful young women both inside and out.  It’s been a wonderful experience getting to know them and we look forward to seeing them continue to grow and shape their world.

It’s been a wonderful year full of both challenges and accomplishments.  We’ve met many new people who have shared their time with us.   We have experienced the ups and downs of life with our clients, our horses and ourselves.  It has reinforced the concept that the only constant is change.  We hope you all will continue to grow in your lives and find fulfillment.

Happy Thanksgiving from the herd at Crossroads Equine Assisted Learning.

Fun Times at Crossroads Summer Horse Camp for Kids

We had a great first session of summer camp and we are gearing up for our second session.  We still have room for a couple more kids for this coming session and session three.

The kids have a great time while learning valuable lessons about horses, themselves and others. They learn about communicating with horses, then practice those skills in order to become effective horse handlers. This week the kids built an obstacle course, tested it themselves, made the necessary adjustments then led their favorite four-footed friend through it.  Talk about great creativity and problem solving skills!

Help Crossroads Earn a Grant.

To all of our friends and supporters, we want to ask a favor of you. Could you please take a minute to vote for Crossroads Equine Assisted Learning on Mission Main Street Grants? We have applied for a grant to be able to offer services for clients who may not be able to afford the services. Those of you that personally know Christina and Judi know that we have a passion and a plan that we have been working on for the past 2 years. Here is a chance for you to help us reach our goal and help our community. For our friends in other countries here is a chance to help make the world a better place for humans. Your votes count too! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Judi & Christina
